CRASH, or CR45H as she likes to be known, and retired FBI Agent, Jaden Clay, meet in the first novel and foster a strange relationship that takes them on vigilante type cases. The skeletons threaten to fall out of their own closets as they face numerous moral dilemmas and life threatening situations.
Revenge, romance, murder, deviance and a small side of technology, is what you'll find throughout, but mostly, it's about settling a score.
LAPSE - A woman, who knows "what" she is but not "who", is told by the FBI that she is Mercedes Davenport, and probably a "loose string" for a diabolical cyber criminal. When a reluctant husband from Cape Cod arrives, she chooses to be Hana instead, but soon she's hunted by a murderer with a sickening fettish, and she agrees to be Jaden Clay's bait. In a race to remember what she's done, she finds another life, and it's worse than they thought.
GIVEBACKS - A commercial plane falls on Marisa's house and she witnesses a helicopter land to remove selected human remains, before the authorities arrive, she knows it's strange. Amongst the wreckage she finds a treasure, one she's willing to run for, for the rest of her life.
Crash and Jaden Clay land the 'case of a lifetime' but they soon face a moral dilemma when the clues lead them to the Givebacks organisation. Skeletons from their own past threaten to derail the justice they should exact, even as they fight a choice that is a certain death.
GAME ON - When her neighbour strangles her dog and buries it in her front yard, she decides to destroy him on his own turf - in the world of gaming, in full view of the gamers who idolise him. A fake profile should have protected her but when he writes "Game on", on her wall, she realises that she has endangered a Stanford student's life. Jaden Clay and Crash soon find themselves navigating the tunnels under the university, hunting a deviant gamer, but they find another world more dangerous than any game, and it threatens to end their partnership in something worse than death.
